App Permissions is about deciding what different areas of your life get access to. This woman had been giving her corporate job access to her entire creative identity — it had consumed everything. Her six months off was essentially revoking that permission. The new challenge was figuring out how to give a future job access to her time and skills without letting it touch the creative work she'd reclaimed. Going back with new boundaries meant rewriting what work was and wasn't allowed to reach.
