Kayla and Teenage Gender Expression
Accessibility helped Kayla recognize her own limits around compromising her authentic self and adapt her dating approach to work with, not against, her natural preferences. She learned that trying to be someone she wasn't was unsustainable, so she started intentionally wearing baggy clothes and abstract styles when meeting new people. Instead of fighting her tomboyish tendencies, she made them part of her screening process.
