Jay Shetty had been letting work expand without hard boundaries — it was silently taking permission to fill weekends, evenings, and moments that were supposed to belong elsewhere. The shift he describes is a deliberate renegotiation of those permissions: work gets weekday nights sometimes, but weekends stay protected; gym time gets the early morning so breakfast with his wife stays intact.
