Sync is about alignment between what you feel inside and how you show up in the world. At 12, Joanna Strogats felt something deeply — a connection to Dolly's music, a desire to sing — but the outside world hadn't confirmed that those feelings pointed toward anything real. Dolly's letter synced those two things. What Joanna felt on the inside (that she had something to offer) finally matched what the outside world reflected back to her. That alignment is what made the moment feel so enormous.
