Location Services is about knowing where you actually are — mentally, emotionally, physically. Mary Mallon's Location Services were completely offline. She could not track her real situation: that her body was doing harm even when she felt perfectly well. She kept insisting she was healthy and had done nothing wrong, while the evidence mounted around her. Her self-awareness of where she stood — legally, medically, socially — never updated to match reality.
