Location Services is self-awareness — knowing where you actually are mentally, emotionally, and in time. Chad had almost no Location Services running during those months. He was sleep-deprived, emotionally flooded, spending tens of thousands of dollars, neglecting his kids, and communicating in what he called 'pseudo-caveman.' He had no accurate read on where he was. The 1+1=3 test was the moment Location Services snapped back on — he suddenly knew exactly where he was, and it was nowhere near where he thought he'd been.
