Haptics
How much you physically feel. Turn it up and every bump, vibration, and ache registers. Turn it down and the pain, tension, and discomfort fade into the background.
Jay Shetty and the Skydiving Visualization
Haptics controls how strongly the body registers discomfort. Jay Shetty started each visualization with his haptics turned way up — he felt sick to his stomach every time. Through repeated rehearsal, his body gradually stopped amplifying the imagined threat. By the eighth attempt, the physical discomfort had faded, and by the time he was on the actual plane, his haptics were dialed down enough that the fear didn't interfere.
