Location Services is the ability to know where you actually are — mentally, emotionally, physically. Alex Hai lost his grip on this completely during the Berlin depression. He was searching for his own fault in what had happened, which was a way of being lost — unable to accurately read the real source of his situation. He couldn't tell the difference between 'I did something wrong' and 'other people are being evil.' The shift came when he finally got a more accurate read: the enemy wasn't himself, it was outside him, and the cruelest thing he'd done was to stop fighting for himself.
