Michaela Nogueira had allowed her career to run with effectively unlimited access — pulling her attention, her energy, her time, and her presence, even at the expense of her marriage. The divorce and the reflection that followed was, in part, a recognition that she had never drawn a boundary between those two domains. Career had full permissions; marriage did not.
