Anti-Alias captures Pam's refusal to flatten Angela into a single good-or-bad label. When people asked why she didn't hate her sister, Pam explained it clearly: two of the personalities loved her, two tolerated her, and one wanted her dead. She didn't hate all of them because not all of them were the same. That ability to hold nuance — to see Angela as five distinct people rather than one monster — is what allowed Pam to preserve compassion for Kind and Sad while also protecting herself from Angry. Most people in her position would have either excused all the behavior or condemned all of it.
