Taylor Lautner-Dome explicitly traced her reluctance to rely on others back to being an only child — hardworking, self-directed, never needing to share the load. Being forced to need Taylor Lautner cracked open a version of her that her upbringing hadn't installed. She got to choose, for the first time, a different way of being in a partnership.
