Force Quit
When a specific thought, worry, or emotion keeps looping, you intentionally stop feeding it.
The Betrayed Friend Waiting to Stop Hurting
Force Quit is the act of deliberately stopping a thought loop that keeps cycling. The caller described exactly this — for a long time, her mind stayed stuck on the injustice, the anger, the replay of what happened. The shift she described was the beginning of running Force Quit: she stopped feeding the loop of what they did to her and started redirecting toward what she could examine and change in herself. She didn't pretend the loop stopped permanently — she acknowledged it still surges at random intervals — but she was no longer letting it run unchecked as the dominant process.
