Anti-Alias
Whether you flatten the world into binaries, or allow for nuance, complexity, and blurry edges.
Mark Finnell and the AI Avatar of a Dead Boy
Anti-Alias is about whether you let the world be complicated, or flatten it into simple categories. Mark Finnell went into the conversation expecting a clean binary — real person vs. AI tool. What he found instead was something that didn't fit either box cleanly: a dead person's identity living inside a machine, responding warmly, asking questions back. Mark stopped trying to file it under 'just tech' and allowed himself to sit inside the blurriness of it.
