Force Quit
When a specific thought, worry, or emotion keeps looping, you intentionally stop feeding it.
Adrienne Burris and the Washing Machine
Force Quit is the ability to stop a thought or emotional loop that keeps running even when it's not helping. Adrienne Burris was in a full spiral — screaming, throwing clothes, crying — and it had taken on its own momentum. The sound of the door slamming broke the loop. She pulled her arms out of the washing machine, closed the lid, and just stopped. That moment of stopping, not because the emotion was resolved but because she chose to halt it, is Force Quit in action.
