Do Not Disturb
Your ability to intentionally block out the world when needed. Used for recovery, focus, or boundary-setting.
Gerald and the Homeless Choice
Do Not Disturb helped Gerald create the space he needed to process his grief and find his center. By becoming homeless and unreachable, he was essentially putting himself in do not disturb mode - protected from all the demands, expectations, and crises that had been consuming his bandwidth. He needed years of uninterrupted time to walk, think, and heal without anyone else's agenda interrupting his process.
