Restart became crucial for Riz Ahmed after his hospital experience. He couldn't just resume his old life and mindset after facing death and losing everything he thought defined him. He had to intentionally pause, reflect on what he'd learned about gratitude and presence, and begin again with a completely different understanding of what mattered. The physical recovery required an emotional and spiritual restart as well.
