When faced with chicken harvest, Marnie discovered she didn't have to remain bound by her 20-year vegetarian identity. She allowed herself to experience killing and eating meat, choosing to expand beyond the moral framework she'd inherited. This revealed capabilities and desires she didn't know she possessed.
