Anti-Alias
Whether you flatten the world into binaries, or allow for nuance, complexity, and blurry edges.
Eve Engel and the First Kiss That Wasn't Perfect
Anti-Alias is about allowing for nuance and complexity instead of flattening everything into binaries. Eve Engel had a very binary framework for her first kiss: it would either be perfect or it would be a failure. Her counselor introduced a third option — awkward is normal, awkward is fine, awkward doesn't mean wrong. That was Anti-Alias doing its work: blurring the hard edge between perfect and ruined and revealing the wide, normal territory in between.
